CSCPF offers a relational, inclusive and personalized approach to spiritual care while encouraging growth in the wisdom, knowledge and skills needed for this practice in the 21st century. Our community seeks to foster common ground among multiple faith groups, interfaith communities, spiritual not religious, and non-theist perspectives.

Our primary objectives and purposes are to increase the effectiveness and competency of chaplains, pastoral counselors and chaplaincy programs by supporting accreditation of learning centers and certification of individuals, managing an association of spiritual care practitioners, and facilitating the development of the practice of spiritual care on an inclusive and accessible basis. In addition to these general purposes, your donation to our two special funds will help CSCPF support the specific needs of individuals and groups as we put into practice our commitments to stewardship and social justice.

About your donation allocations

You may allocate your donation to either a single or combined purpose. Simply indicate how much should be directed towards each category.

A "General Support" donation will help us cover our continuing expenses, sustain our organization and offerings into the world. Ours is a volunteer-based organization. Our goal is to serve our members by keeping our membership fees as low as possible, yet we have many operational expenses that are simply not covered by membership fees. Your donations help in building and sustaining our community.

There are also two specific purpose funds established to support the mission of CSCPF in two distinct ways:

"The Jarvis "John" Edgerton Social Awareness Fund" supports the needs of individuals and groups in furtherance of CSCPF's commitment to serve and empower local and global communities re/build and re/organize their lives after natural disasters.,
"The Joel Harvey Education and Formation Fund" supports those who are active participants in CSCPF's local and inter-national communities to empower and nourish individuals in their work as clinical pastoral and spiritual caregivers and careseekers in the 21st century world.
